The Kubota MX5400 is a versatile mid-size utility tractor designed for property maintenance, light farming, and commercial landscaping. As part of the MX Series, it offers a balance of power, comfort, and affordability—making it a popular choice for operators who need reliable performance without stepping into full-size ag tractors.

Powered by a 2.4L Kubota V2403CR-T turbocharged diesel engine, the MX5400 delivers 55.5 HP gross and meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards. It’s available in Gear-Drive or Hydrostatic (HST) transmission configurations, with 2WD or 4WD options to suit a variety of terrain and tasks.

The MX5400 features an open-center hydraulic system, Category I/II 3-point hitch, and a rear lift capacity of up to 2,310 lbs, making it compatible with a wide range of implements. Cab models offer enhanced comfort with heat, A/C, tilt steering, and a suspension seat, while the open station version provides easy access and visibility.
